Although we believe that there is one world, and we are all one, we understand the meaning of the popular 3 Worlds concept.

There may always be centers that are in the words of a California Spiritual Center either "too poor to sponsor the listing pertaining to their center" or simply angry about the fact that we provide resources to the public for free. In these cases, people & companies are stepping in to support these listings and control the Listing Graphic to the left of the listing with their own graphics.

Over the years, there have been reports that certain centers are led by individuals who are not interested in sharing these wonderful teachings as much as controlling your access to them.

Such centers can be recognized by the use of ingenious systems to channel your energy through hierarchies that are remarkably similar to Scientology.

Use NewThoughtLibrary to explore these teachings. It will keep growing. It will always be free and does not require membership.

If a center is in charity status, step in for them and help them into Prosperity Status.

Don't wait on the hierarchy. Take charge. It is a new millennium and you are the key to global transformation.

Center's never get billed or receive invoices.

Because we work on an honor system, ministries maintain integrity by sending voluntary tithes and donations. All of New Thought is receiving the benefit of support from volunteers around the globe who are supporting all of New Thought with wonderful Spiritual Resources. All centers are benefitting from this work, including your center, if you belong to one. The level of consciousness that a center has is reflected through the listing pertaining to said center throughout the FindACenter directory system.

What is the F.A.C.E. of a center in the directory showing?

Currently in the Universal New Thought Directory, there are three different types of listings.

  1. Charity
  2. Prosperity
  3. Sponsored

A center's best choice is Prosperity.
But a center can always wait and trust that God will provide a person to elevate the status of the listing pertaining to said center. Such sponsors are able to assume a stronger role in sculpting the information that appears in the listing pertaining to that center.

Choosing Prosperity demonstrates a Center's committment to all of New Thought through supportiing the Spiritual Resources that support that center and all of New Thought.

By sowing seed into the fields that sustain you, new crops grow and continue to support you. We have tithed between 27 and 43 hours of work to every center listed in FindACenter, unless it is brand new. We believe in you! We believe in New Thought! We believe in Prosperity!

Some centers, particularly in the 2nd world have hidden beliefs about services and believe "you get what you pay for" and thus don't believe that there is any support in the world except if they have the cash. They believe that they will get bills or invoices for everything. And because believe this they do. This is common in the 2nd World because people come second behind corporations which are often in charge of major aspects of human lives.

When centers realize they are in the spell of a hidden belief, they are able to choose to discard this hidden belief which makes it much easier for such centers to participate in the system as designed. They joyfully realize that tithes or regular donations are voluntary and that if they don't wish to participate, the public will happily provide the information and in some cases even contribute for them.

Thus, even if a center is struggling, and in some rare cases might be not be able to tithe, we support them! The public is always stepping forth to demonstrate! However, the smart minister prefers to have the greatest influence upon the listing pertaining to his or her center. Leaving this up to others may not yield the results that we want.

Why be covered by P.U.S. (the Public Update System) when you can begin to make a difference in the world of New Thought.

We encourage ministers to move to prosperity, but it is a voluntary choice. If you are a minister, choose prosperity and express your magnificence, if you are a member at a center that is not currently tithing to support these wonderful resources, help them to express prosperity by tithing for them and getting involved in their success. After all their success is your success and all of us together insure success for the whole world!

Listings belong to the public and are part of the New Thought News services powered by New Thought.

Ministries wishing to influence the listing pertaining to their center must participate to do so. Otherwise, the public will provide the information and it may not be the exact way a center desires.

There is no charge to be listed. All tithes are voluntary as the directory is a public resource. But sponsors that choose to tithe to support the New Thought resources that we maintain to support the world may tithe in the name of a particular center and this will be reflected through the listing.

Centers experiencing poverty consciousness and thus unable to tithe may send an annual letter stating clearly that the center is financially strapped and unable to tithe and upon approval said center will be given to access a requested ministry building resources that we provide. All resources are provided for free and funded by voluntary tithes and donations.

Are you relying on the General Public to supply your information and/or your tithes?

Every Center has always had and will always have a Charity Listing,
BUT isn't it better to choose Prosperity?

1. Charity listings are freely given to all New Thought Centers.
Unless a Center goes out of business and has no public record, then that center will have a listing. The Universal Directory is Universal. The public is always submitting new listings or updates. Even though the Directory has been around in one form or another since 1992, some centers are not conscious of their web presence. Serving New Thought is a charitable organization which means that we are benevolently providing free listings enabling the public to find New Thought Centers. This is the meaning of the term "Charity Listing".

Every Center has been sent at least 3 postcards and 4 letters and received at least 11 phone calls over the years. But some just remain ignorant of the facts or live in fear of a bill that will never come. We are a non-profit ministry. We do not send bills or invoices. We work with those centers who wish to influence the news about their respective centers. It is only fair that the centers be allowed to participate even though the New Thought News resources are fueled by public energy and participation. Naturally participation of all is voluntary and some either intentionally or unconsciously leave the news up to the public. In any and all cases, we provide ongoing public resources which provide information about New Thought from around the world and the library which provides public domain New Thought texts for free for all, forever. Blessings and thanks to those who support our work and bless all those who cannot. We hold the truth to be self evident that one day, all wise and compassionate souls will participate with love and joy.

For 14 years, we tithed a prosperity listing to every center in the world. Our advisory council, made up of ministers who have been tithing for at least 15 months and are currently in prosperity status pointed out that we needed a way to express gratitude to the centers that are supporting the work that we are doing as a non-profit ministry and to help the public to support centers that might be in the words of the Californian's "too poor to send a tithe." If a minister wishes to exercise some influence upon the way that this ministry operates, then he/she must be demonstrating participation is all the ways provided under the guidelines created over the last 20 years.

Mostly we have found that centers simply do not know about the work we are doing, despite the ongoing communications from colleagues in Conscious Ministry. In contrast to membership organizations which charge annual fees or force involuntary tithing upon their members, our system is open and voluntary. Ministries that care about the general public and are "walking the talk" of New Thought send voluntary tithes to support the work we do supporting them, and you, with all the wonderful resources that we maintain for your benefit. We generally find that when centers are conscious of the vast amount of work we do to support them, they begin supporting our work with regular tithes that support the Universal Directory, the FREE New Thought Library and more...

Please make sure that your center is aware of these wonderful resources, so that all can take advantage of them. After all, they are FREE!

2. Prosperity listings pertain to listings for New Thought Centers which are tithing to support the resources that we maintain to support them, you and all of New Thought.

These listings emphasize the realization of the power of sowing seed back to the fields which nourish you, and your consequent demonstration of consciousness through action. It is a voluntary choice to be a Prosperity Center and some centers achieve Prosperity status through the caring and generosity of individual members. The universe is abundant but this does not mean that all centers truly "walk the talk". Some centers, albeit such leadership is rare, are deeply into the picayune spiirtual politics that govern those living in small worlds. The resources we steward are your resources. They are non-denominational. They are free. They do not require involuntary registration. We do not follow the corporate model of collecting information on people and selling it.

Is there a tithe notice next to the listing that pertains to a center?
When we receive a tithe that supports the listing that pertains to a center, a notice is placed to the left of the listing prompting a call in & appointment, if you see one of these notices, then go to the hours page, check current hours then call in to make an appointment.

--Prosperity Listings include various levels of contact information and hyperlinks to the center's website. They can contain links to online mapping services providing directions to reach the center. They might have links to social networks and more...

3. Sponsored listings are listings being supported by a third party.
Sponsors sending in donations to support particular centers or groups of centers gain control over the graphic to the left of those listings and are able to place whatever the sponsor wishes as long as it is within the guidelines for FindACenter graphics. The sponsor may be given and then may choose the option of listing the center's phone number.

When "Sponsors" subscribe to the annual tithe to support a directory listing, they can gain control of the graphic to the left of that listing for the length of their subscription. This can be used to promote the center or their business as long as they follow the guidelines.
