I am a computer novice, is the training hard?
We have trained people from 18 to 80. Whether you are a novice or a highly skilled user, we will empower you to maintain your web.

I am not in the USA can I still get training?
We have already trained people multiple countries around the world in 4 languages. If you have a broadband connection you can get the training!

How much does this cost?
Serving New Thought creates a web to support your ministry and works with you so that even if you are experiencing extreme poverty consciousness, you will get your web for the tithe that you can support. |
We are a ministry, not a company, when you work with us, you tithe and those tithes help us help more New Thought centers.
We suggest that since sponsors of webs in the "third world" give at least $1 a day to support these webs. You can at very least do the same. But regardless of your level of prosperity consciousness, we will help you!

Learning anything is as easy or challenging as you wish to make it. Our senior minister has educated & trained people around the world in various languages. He has trained us in his educational techniques and if he is unavailable, one of the staff will train you. You will either need Skype, or a phone with a headset and be able to be on the phone and the web at the same time. The headset keeps your hands free during the training sessions so you can use the keyboard and mouse. Standard training takes at least two sessions, but we will continue your training and support for as long as you are in the program. Each session is approxiimately 2 hours. In the first lesson you will be trained how to connect to your website, upload and download pages, as well as change text. In the second session you will learn how to properly prepare and replace pictures on your webs. Depending on your type of website, at some point in time you may have to obtain proper software to edit it. In the case of editing and sizing pictures or adding flash components, you will need to master certain applications.

our core council opened the Prosperity Program for all New Thought ministries. Our goal is to empower ministers and administrators at New Thought Centers around the world by providing high quality webs, hosting and training all on a tithing basis! |

What software?
If choose a content management system like Joomla or Drupal such as the new CSL installation,
you will not need any software.
If you don't want a php installation then, you will need to purchase the Macromedia Web Suite which includes Dreamweaver and Fireworks. It is best that you wait until your first session before obtaining software in case we begin using a different or more advanced program. As a New Thought teacher or student, you can get software at an educational discount. We have found great places on the web which have good deals! |
